Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification required
- Masters or specialist-level degree from an accredited program
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations (IDEA, Section 504, etc.)
- Strong consultation skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Ability to develop and monitor intervention plans
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for special education and related services
- Offering individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavioral needs
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes
- Assisting with development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Supporting crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
