Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist serving several campuses near Plano, TX. This full-time, onsite position offers a diverse and engaging work environment, where you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary and high school students for the remainder of the school year through May 2027. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students thrive and in fostering a collaborative educational community.

What You'll Do:

  • Attend Student Support Team (SST) meetings to inform intervention strategies
  • Obtain informed consent and serve as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, providing insight into students' social, emotional, and learning needs
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to present evaluation results
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and adheres to all district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with special education personnel, administrators, teachers, and families to support each students success
  • Routinely travel between approximately 34 assigned campuses (all onsite; travel is local)
  • Maintain flexibility and organization while managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Who We're Looking For:

  • Current Texas School Psychologist License
  • Recent experience working in a school setting, ideally across multiple grade levels
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage several deadlines and cases at once
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in multidisciplinary settings
  • Reliable personal transportation for travel between campuses
  • Committed to onsite service (no remote work)
