Job Description
A school district in Gaffney, South Carolina is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a fulltime, schoolbased contract. This position serves K12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and socialemotional development. Candidates who are collaborative, detailoriented, and committed to student success are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and socialemotional functioning
Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Assist with MTSS, early intervention, and schoolbased mental health initiatives as applicable
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Support a safe, inclusive, and studentcentered learning environment


Qualifications

Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
Licensing and credentialing support may be available for eligible candidates


Education

Masters degree, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology or a related field


Experience

Prior schoolbased experience preferred
New graduates with appropriate credentials and internship experience are encouraged to apply


Skills

Strong assessment, data interpretation, and reportwriting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations


Work Hours

MondayFriday
8:00 AM 3:30 PM
Approximately 3740 hours per week
