Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-12 schools strongly preferred
- Solid grounding in psychological assessment tools and interpretation
- Knowledge of special education laws and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive services in a diverse school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments of students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review IEPs
- Deliver individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to design interventions and accommodations supporting student development
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with confidentiality guidelines and district policies
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) efforts within the school
