Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Frostproof, FL, this onsite, full-time role spans from August 2026 through May 2027, working collaboratively with school staff and students across diverse grade levels. Youll play a key part in fostering student growth and wellbeing through comprehensive psychological services.
Your expertise will help shape positive educational outcomes as you assess, consult, and implement evidence-based interventions for the school community. Candidates will receive further specifics about caseload and daily responsibilities during the interview process.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and data-driven interventions
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in alignment with IEP and 504 plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, or group support as needed
- Serve as a resource to educational staff, offering training or guidance as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and federal guidelines
