Bring your expertise in school psychology to a fulfilling role supporting students and staff for the upcoming school year. Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals: one full-time (37.5 hours/week) serving all grade levels, and one part-time (19 hours/week) focusing on PreK and early education. Both positions are structured Monday through Friday, offering a consistent weekday schedule in an engaging educational environment near Fremont, NE.
Ideal candidates will hold the necessary educational background along with a current NE School Psychologist license. The full-time position covers a diverse, school-wide caseload, while the part-time role will supplement an existing school psychologist, primarily supporting younger learners in a collaborative setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid NE School Psychologist license
- Strong knowledge of assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies
- Experience supporting a variety of age groups and learning needs
- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and behavioral support for students as needed
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other plans
- Promote a positive school climate and support mental health initiatives
