Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Proficient in psychoeducational evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility processes
  • Outstanding report writing and collaborative communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Complete assessments determining special education eligibility
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare accurate, timely reports
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings to support student outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
  • Assist in behavior intervention planning and delivery of student services
  • Maintain proper documentation and meet all compliance deadlines
