Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Proficient in psychoeducational evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility processes
- Outstanding report writing and collaborative communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Complete assessments determining special education eligibility
- Interpret assessment data and prepare accurate, timely reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings to support student outcomes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
- Assist in behavior intervention planning and delivery of student services
- Maintain proper documentation and meet all compliance deadlines
