Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to help guide student support decisions
  • Perform assessments to determine special education eligibility
  • Interpret test results and compose detailed, compliant written reports
  • Actively participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, contributing your expertise for student success plans
  • Partner with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Collaborate in behavior intervention planning and student services to address a diverse range of needs
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation is maintained to support student progress and compliance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Virginia School Psychologist license or appropriate credential
  • Preference given to candidates with previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Proficient with conducting evaluations, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Strong skills in report writing, interpreting data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
