Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to support student success.
- Complete detailed assessments to determine special education eligibility.
- Interpret assessment data and prepare thorough, articulate written reports.
- Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings as a valued team member.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and administrators to drive student-centered solutions.
- Provide guidance on behavior intervention planning and deliver support for student services.
- Maintain compliant, organized documentation while adhering to required timelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current Virginia School Psychologist license or credential (required).
- Prior experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, IEP development, and eligibility procedures.
- Exceptional skills in both written report creation and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
