Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist for a travel-based W-2 contract opportunity supporting K12 students in a school district setting. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in diverse educational environments while making a meaningful impact on student success and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts as needed
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to travel and adapt to new school environments
