Embark on a dynamic assignment serving students as a full-time School Psychologist. Located in the area near Franklin Park, IL, this contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within an educational community focused on growth and support.
In this role, you'll collaborate with school teams to provide comprehensive psychological services. You'll primarily support a caseload involving approximately 50 re-evaluations, partner closely with the MTSS team for tier 3 interventions, and carry out Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting re-evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks, tier 3 interventions, FBA/BIP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience highly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely and thorough psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
- Participate actively as a core member of the MTSS team, guiding tier 3 intervention planning
- Complete FBAs and develop, monitor, and revise BIPs as necessary
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Advocate for best practices in promoting social-emotional and academic development
