Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Active Kentucky school psychologist license
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Familiarity with special education eligibility processes and IEP development
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Organized, resourceful, and committed to advocacy and inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for both general and special education students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
  • Support the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral interventions
  • Engage in data-driven decision making to enhance student learning and well-being
  • Train and support staff in evidence-based strategies for student support
  • Partner with families and school personnel to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
