Empower students and provide essential support as a School Psychologist dedicated to serving 3rd5th grade learners in an engaging, onsite role. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to enhance academic and emotional growth for elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (3rd5th grades) is strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret data, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations for students in 3rd5th grade, identifying learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop and participate in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive school environment
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation, as needed
- Engage in data collection and progress monitoring to tailor interventions and measure outcomes
