Key Qualifications:
- Current, active MA DESE School Psychologist license
- Previous experience working with elementary and middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in developing and interpreting IEPs
- Comfortable conducting a range of psychological and behavioral evaluations
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students ages 7-12 to identify learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop assessment reports and recommendations aligned with student support plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on strategies and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input on goal setting and progress monitoring
- Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention as needed
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate
