Step into a valued role supporting student mental health and growth as a contract School Psychologist serving K-12 students in an onsite environment. Key Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts School Psychologist License required
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings is highly desirable
- Proficient with comprehensive evaluations, IEPs, and developing intervention strategies
- Skilled at collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support student learning plans
- Develop and implement appropriate interventions and supports for diverse student needs
- Participate in special education eligibility meetings and student support teams
- Consult with teachers and parents to promote best practices for academic and behavioral success
- Provide direct and indirect counseling to students individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation per district and state requirements
