Job Description
Make a significant impact in school communities by providing vital psychological services to students for the upcoming academic year. There are multiple contract opportunities for experienced School Psychologists who can work onsite and demonstrate dedication to supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of children in an educational setting. Full-time schedules are primarily sought, but part-time roles may be considered depending on the needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Georgia Educator Certificate for School Psychology
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, crisis response, and counseling practices
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and work collaboratively with diverse school staff
- Proficient in maintaining thorough daily service documentation/logs
- Willingness to discuss age group strengths at interview for optimal placement
- Must be available for in-person (onsite) workvirtual-only applicants are not eligible
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, assessments, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
- Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Facilitate crisis intervention, counseling, and positive behavioral supports
- Support data-driven decision-making and student progress monitoring across the school
- Maintain accurate, detailed daily service documentation as required
