Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain in Texas)
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Ability to develop and implement data-driven interventions and support plans
- Background working with multicultural populations is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify educational, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers and parents to promote evidence-based interventions and supports
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports to inform educational planning
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes to deliver early intervention and support positive student outcomes
