Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for Texas
  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in schools or educational settings encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for eligibility of special education services
  • Develop and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to create effective intervention plans
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and progress
  • Support crisis response and intervention as needed
  • Deliver counseling, support, and skill-building services to students individually or in groups
  • Assist in designing and implementing prevention programs and behavioral supports
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation per regulatory requirements
