Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Texas
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and providing counseling to students
- Strong background in behavioral interventions and consultation with teachers, families, and staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, though not required
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students ages PreK-12
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers and parents to develop intervention strategies and classroom supports
- Lead and participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and 504 team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in accordance with school and district policies
- Advocate for student needs and contribute to a positive school climate
