Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
  • Valid state licensure and/or certification for School Psychologists
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP recommendations, and provide counseling
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to design interventions and support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (IEP/504) and offer expertise on student behavior and learning
  • Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention for students as needed
  • Collaborate with other school professionals to create effective learning environments
  • Support data-driven decision-making and evidence-based practices
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensure thorough documentation
