Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Strong assessment skills, including administration and interpretation of cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations
• Experience developing and interpreting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Dedication to cultural competence and equitable practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a variety of psychological tests to assess students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective intervention strategies and positive behavioral supports
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to support tailored education plans for students with disabilities or special needs
• Respond to crisis situations, providing counseling and resources as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and reports to ensure compliance with educational laws and guidelines
