Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid state credential as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or eligibility for Texas certification
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings to both educators and families
• Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills with staff, students, and parents
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Interpret assessment results and provide written reports that guide educators and families in supporting student growth
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school administrators on student support teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Develop, recommend, and monitor effective interventions and support plans
• Provide consultative services to staff and families regarding student needs and effective strategies
• Participate in crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
