Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
- Experience with psycho-educational assessment, behavioral intervention, and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to interpret data and create actionable intervention plans
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret results and develop IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Help design and implement evidence-based strategies for academic and behavioral support
- Participate in team meetings, crisis response, and professional development activities
- Serve as an advocate for student mental health and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines
