Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
  • Experience with psycho-educational assessment, behavioral intervention, and IEP processes
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to interpret data and create actionable intervention plans
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret results and develop IEPs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Help design and implement evidence-based strategies for academic and behavioral support
  • Participate in team meetings, crisis response, and professional development activities
  • Serve as an advocate for student mental health and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines
