Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state credential as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or eligibility for Texas certification
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings to both educators and families
- Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills with staff, students, and parents
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
- Interpret assessment results and provide written reports that guide educators and families in supporting student growth
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school administrators on student support teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Develop, recommend, and monitor effective interventions and support plans
- Provide consultative services to staff and families regarding student needs and effective strategies
- Participate in crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
