Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist in Texas
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs
• Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Write clear, detailed assessment reports and participate in eligibility meetings
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students in need
• Consult with educators and parents to design and implement effective classroom supports
• Guide development and review of IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in problem-solving teams and school-wide mental health initiatives
• Promote inclusive practices and support a positive school climate
