Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state license as a school psychologist or eligibility for licensure
- Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field
- Knowledge of assessment tools and experience with psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong understanding of IEP and 504 processes
- Effective communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students to identify strengths and needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on eligibility, placement, and interventions
- Develop intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide consultation and training to school staff around Mental Health and learning differences
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts when needed
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with regulations
