Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, individual and group counseling, and behavioral interventions within a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to promoting student well-being and advocating for equitable educational opportunities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Consult with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct support to students through counseling sessions and crisis intervention as needed
• Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), positive behavior support, and other school-wide initiatives
• Facilitate professional development workshops for staff on relevant psychological and behavioral topics
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
