A school district in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contracted position. This role offers the opportunity to support student success by providing comprehensive psychological services within the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Assist in developing programs to support student social-emotional development
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and psychological services
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and counseling in schools
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
