Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to create supportive, inclusive learning environments for diverse student populations
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior intervention strategies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to identify student needs and recommend appropriate interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and the development of school-wide mental health initiatives
- Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support, including progress monitoring and data-driven decision making
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with all regulations
