Qualifications & Experience:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas.
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a PK-12 educational setting is highly valued.
- Familiarity with response-to-intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
- Strong skills in psychological assessments, individualized education plans (IEPs), and behavioral intervention.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working with staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students educational and emotional needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and support plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student-specific educational programs.
- Serve as a resource and consultant for teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
