This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and families while supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of children across diverse backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in a school-based or educational setting strongly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for partnering with students, staff, and caregivers
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Develop and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support for students as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive outcomes
- Deliver training and resources to school staff regarding behavioral, emotional, and learning supports
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
- Advocate for student well-being by promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments
