Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Solid understanding of educational assessment tools and interventions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions is highly valued
  • Previous work in K-12 settings preferred
  • Ability to handle diverse caseloads with compassion and professionalism

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students academic, social, and emotional needs through formal and informal methods
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests to inform educational planning
  • Participate in IEP, MDT, and 504 meetings; share insights to support appropriate student programming
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Deliver counseling for students individually and in groups to promote mental wellness and address behavioral challenges
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
