Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
• Current and valid license as a School Psychologist in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and assist with behavior management
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students
• Develop and monitor individualized education or intervention plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in data interpretation and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student well-being
• Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students individually or in groups
• Offer crisis support and participate in school crisis teams as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
