Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a thriving educational environment near Fort Sill, OK. This is a contract position where you'll make a positive impact on students educational and emotional success by providing critical psychological services and collaborating with dedicated professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with student assessments, intervention planning, and special education processes
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for referred students, interpreting results for eligibility and intervention planning
- Offer direct and consultative psychological services to students, including counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor effective interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, facilitating discussions around student needs and progress
- Support implementation of positive behavioral interventions and mental health support programs
- Maintain clear, compliant, and timely documentation as required by regulations and best practices
