Make a lasting impact as a School Psychologist in a vibrant elementary setting near Manhattan, KS. In this full-time contract role, youll collaborate with educators, families, and students to support individualized learning and emotional wellness for a dedicated elementary caseload. Your Kansas School Psychologist License will allow you to deliver essential services throughout the school week, Monday through Friday, for a total of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Kansas School Psychologist License (required)
- Strong interpersonal and consultation skills
- Evidence-based assessment and intervention experience
- Passion for advocating for students educational and emotional well-being
- Familiarity with collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to guide student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to implement interventions
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure student needs are met
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation
