Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting in Fort Pierce, FL. This contract role offers a chance to apply your expertise in supporting the academic and social-emotional development of students through assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor student progress and recommend appropriate services.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations regarding student services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health License as a School Psychologist required.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments and delivering intervention services in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and school staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
