This contract role is ideal for a dedicated professional focused on fostering students academic, social, and emotional growth through psychological assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for effective interventions
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to state regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) license as a School Psychologist is required
- Demonstrated experience working in school environments with diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of child development, psychological testing, and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and school personnel
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain confidential records
