Your expertise will support the academic, emotional, and social development of students by collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Florida Department of Health (DOH) license in School Psychology (required)
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not mandatory
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to guide eligibility and intervention planning
- Consult with teachers and parents to develop strategies that promote academic and behavioral success
- Participate as a valued member of IEP, problem-solving, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support students mental health and well-being
- Create and deliver professional development on relevant topics, such as crisis intervention and positive behavior supports
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
