Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across three vibrant school campuses in the heart of the southeast Florida coast. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 5, 2026, through June 1, 2027, immersing you in a dynamic educational setting with diverse learners. Youll work alongside dedicated staff at Ft. Pierce, Westwood Pre-K, and Northport K8, contributing your expertise in school psychology to foster growth and well-being throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) license as a School Psychologist is required and must remain active throughout the assignment.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged populations preferred.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fingerprinting required; the district may utilize existing DOH prints to streamline credentialing.

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret test results, and participate in eligibility meetings.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions.
  • Serve a manageable caseload across three campuses, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all district and state requirements.
  • Play an active role in multidisciplinary teams to help drive student success.
