A professional opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Fort Pierce, FL. This contract position involves working five days per week, totaling 37.5 hours, providing psychological services to enhance student academic and behavioral outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Assist with the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Comply with state regulations and ethical standards related to school psychology practices
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
