About the Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based travel position in Fort Myers, FL for the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working in dynamic educational settings while exploring a new area. Youll play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral services within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Train and support school staff in implementing behavior strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Florida licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
