Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) license as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting student assessments and providing both direct and consultative services
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse populations and varying student needs
- Previous school-based experience (preferred, but not required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to support student success and learning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and intervention services for students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges
- Participate in student support teams, monitor progress, and provide recommendations for services and accommodations
- Maintain comprehensive records, reports, and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Support faculty and administration through consultation and professional development opportunities
