Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Solid understanding of special education regulations and evaluation procedures
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data to support individualized education program (IEP) development
- Counsel students individually or in small groups, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Consult with teachers and parents to recommend interventions and strategies for student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and response, promoting a safe and supportive school climate
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
