Qualifications:
- Current Kentucky school psychologist license (required)
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field (required)
- Previous experience providing psychological services in a K-12 setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and multi-tiered systems of support
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and behavioral needs
- Offer direct counseling services to students, individually and in groups
- Assist in crisis intervention and participate in school-based mental health initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success across academic and social domains
