Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification or eligibility
- Previous experience in a K12 school setting strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of assessment tools, report writing, and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Facilitate small group or individual counseling to support students social and emotional health
- Participate in student support teams, staff meetings, and multi-disciplinary team conferences
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
- Offer professional guidance, recommendations, and training to staff regarding learning and behavioral supports
