Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor support plans
- Provide consultation and support in crisis intervention and behavioral planning as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
