Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current, valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to develop and interpret Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices
  • Compassionate approach with the capacity to work with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding students needs and interventions
  • Develop and implement strategies for academic and behavioral improvement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine appropriate services
  • Support crisis interventions and offer counseling services as needed
  • Assist with progress monitoring and reporting for compliance with federal and state regulations
