Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and developing interventions
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education and student services
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write clear, actionable reports
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies for academic and emotional support
- Participate actively in IEP/504 meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Help design and implement behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling services to students, individually and in groups
- Serve as a resource to promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate
