Job Description

This full-time position is tailored for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to focus on comprehensive evaluations and assessments with a primary emphasis on preschool populations, but with the flexibility to serve a wider range across the district as needed.

Youll provide critical support by conducting individual evaluations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping shape impactful learning environments. Working closely within a single school ensures consistency for both you and the students you servemaking it possible to build meaningful relationships and deliver targeted support.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Credentialed School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain certification in California
  • Prior experience with psycho-educational testing and assessments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of developmental benchmarks, especially for early childhood/preschool-aged children
  • Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and educational teams
  • Adaptability and strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational evaluations for students, with a focus on preschoolers
  • Interpret assessment data and provide insights to staff and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to create effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, guiding data-driven decision-making
  • Provide consultation and support to school teams and families as needed across the district
