Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators in a dynamic K-12 environment for the 2026-27 school year! This full-time, onsite position offers you the opportunity to work as a dedicated School Psychologist, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to enrich the educational experiences of students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist is required
  • Proven experience in identifying and supporting students with educational disabilities
  • Ability to develop and implement academic and behavioral intervention plans
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Experience with K-12 student populations is valued
  • Willingness to work onsite only

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate as a member of the schools Multidisciplinary Team, and potentially serve on other important school teams such as Intervention, Safety, or Crisis Teams
  • Provide comprehensive evaluations to identify educational disabilities and eligibility for Special Education services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and academic intervention plans
  • Offer school-based counseling to students in crisis
  • Act as a resource for staff, parents, and students, supporting their social-emotional and academic needs

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Typical hours may vary depending on school assignment: 7:00-3:00 or 8:30-4:30
  • K-12 grade caseload (details discussed during the interview)
  • Contract position for 2026-27 school year; onsite required
