Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated School Psychologist working with elementary students. This full-time contract position focuses on supporting K-5th grade students in a collaborative and rewarding school environment. Youll work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and contribute your expertise to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and educational teams
  • Ability to administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for students facing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges
  • Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expert recommendations and progress updates
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities to enhance best practices and skillsets

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
