Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and outside agencies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and documentation
  • Deliver direct counseling services to students individually and in group settings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development and school climate
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Maintain professional documentation in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines
