Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop, recommend, and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and support strategies
  • Support and facilitate social-emotional learning and positive behavioral supports schoolwide
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation and reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines
