Make a lasting difference by supporting students mental health and educational success in a full-time contract position as a School Psychologist in the vibrant Denver area. Assignments cover two school sites, serving age groups ranging from Early Childhood Education through High School, depending on district needs. As part of a highly collaborative environment, you will play a vital role in individual and group counseling, direct service delivery, and crisis management.

What were looking for:

• Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• At least 3 years of prior school-based experience (required)
• Active CDE Special Service Provider license endorsed in School Psychology
• Strong student assessment skills and up-to-date professional knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication, critical thinking, and crisis management abilities
• Proven ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Technological fluency and mastery of digital documentation
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills with diverse populations

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering group and individual counseling services per IEP mental health goals
• Developing interventions at the individual, group, and system level
• Providing mental health services in general and special education classrooms
• Coordinating with teachers, families, administrators, and outside agencies
• Administering suicide/threat assessments and guiding crisis response
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and writing detailed reports
• Creating and monitoring IEP goals, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
• Participating actively in team meetings, professional development, and staff collaboration
• Providing psychoeducation, academic/behavior consultation, and connecting families to community resources
