Step into a vital role supporting students mental health and educational progress in a leading Denver-area district as a full-time, onsite School Psychologist. This contract opportunity spans from July 31, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. Assignments cover a range of age groups from early childhood to high school, with caseload and building assignments set on a first-come, first-served basis.

What youll bring:

• Valid CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Minimum of 3 years of school-based psychology experience
• Robust student assessment and crisis management skills
• Mastery of oral/written communication and collaborative teaming with diverse stakeholders
• Calm, decisive approach in crisis situations
• Proficiency in current computer technology and professional software
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to complete thorough district background check and fingerprints

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct group and individual counseling aligned with students IEP mental health goals
• Develop and implement interventions for academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs
• Conduct and interpret comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments for IEP evaluations
• Clearly document services and progress, including service logs, progress monitoring, and educational impact statements
• Respond adeptly to crises, manage suicide and threat assessments, and aid in safety planning
• Collaborate with teachers, families, outside providers, and agencies to coordinate comprehensive support
• Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, attend team meetings, and contribute to professional development and wellness initiatives
• Offer consultation, resources, psychoeducation, and interventions for general and special education students
