Job Description
Providing vital psychological support within an educational setting, this role is for an onsite School Psychologist based in Englewood, CO. The position is a full-time contract assignment designed to serve the needs of one elementary school, starting December 8 and concluding May 22.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments for approximately 40 students to identify learning needs and support strategies
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offering counseling and intervention services to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student outcomes
- Maintaining confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Desired qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within elementary school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time during the specified contract period
